John joined Hilco Capital in 2017 as Chief Financial Officer before transitioning to his current role as Chief Operating Officer of Capital Solutions International and Real Estate International. He leads the operational development of the International platform, driving scalable growth, disciplined execution, and the delivery of consistent, high-performing operating models across markets.
John began his career in the audit team of a top 10 accountancy firm, qualifying as a Chartered Accountant in 1999. He subsequently joined a leading global restructuring practice, advising on complex business reviews, viability assessments, and strategic repositioning. In 2013, he moved into industry, taking on senior finance and leadership roles across retail, aerospace, and manufacturing businesses.
With over 20 years’ experience in turnaround, transformation, and operational leadership, John combines financial rigour with practical execution expertise to unlock value, enhance performance, and support sustainable growth across the International platform.
